Return to Xanga?

I don’t want to go to work, hence I am writing this entry instead.

I got back last night from the PACISE Programming Competition.  What is that you may ask?  It’s a time when all of the top nerds from the PA state schools get together and see who can program the fastest.  Three teams from Millersville went, and we all placed in the top 5, two of our teams in the top 3.  So all in all it was a success.  But wow the other school’s people looked nerdy.  Like Revenge of the Nerds nerdy.

On the way back we stopped at Gravity Hill.  For those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s a place, usually a stretch of road, where due to an optical illusion things appear to flow uphill rather than down, thus causing you to believe that gravity has been reversed.  It was amazing.  We drove the MU van down all of these small farm roads, going like 40 minutes off course, and finally reached it.  There was a big “GH” painted on the road, so we stopped there, on a road that appeared to be on an decline, put the van in neutral, and let off the brake.  The van immediately started rolling backwards at a fast speed.  I love touristy things like that.  One day I’ll be driving across the U.S. to see all of the “World’s Biggest Doughnut” spots.

Anyways, it was awesome and everyone should go.  It’s in New Paris, PA.

Tonight the Tower practices with a drummer.  If Jordan reads this and is surprised, then he should think of why he no-showed on our last two practices.  Nothing against you personally, Jordan; we just want a drummer that will come to practice.  Anyway, the new drummer is really good and he seems interested in what the Tower is doing.  Hopefully everything goes well tonight.http://media.putfile.com/Jamming-Along-to-Symphony-X that’s him.

That’s about it.

Oh, I still don’t have a job for after graduation.  I hope I can get one soon so I don’t have to find a high-paying non-degree related job to make ends meet.  Because those jobs don’t exist.
